    Hello Everyone,

This is a short announcement that version 4.1.0 of the ProAnimator software has just been released. This release incorporates many changes and bug fixes that affect both the Mac and the PC user. But the really big news is that ProAnimator is now a Universal application. So for those of you running Intel based Macs you can now run ProAnimator natively on those Macs.

The 4.1 version is a FREE update to anyone who already owns version 4.0 of ProAnimator.

To download your copy go to the following link (https://zaxwerks.com/cgi-bin/download.cgi ) and fill out the form, or send a message to su*****@******ks.com with the words “Request ProAnimator 4.1” in the subject line.

    Best,

    Wow! That’s great news Zax.

I suspect a lot of people (me included) are sitting on the sidelines waiting for Adobe to release a universal version of AE before we feel the need to get a new machine. It’s nice to see you’re ahead of the curve with ProAnimator. I’d better start saving up for a new box!

Now that PA is universal, what can you tell us about rendering speed… say on the current G5 Quad versus current Mactel boxes?

    Good idea, Jon.

We’ll do a slew of tests and get back to you on that.

It should be interesting – thanks for doing that.

BTW, AppleInsider reports After Effects 8 will be released in June as a Universal app and that Adobe plans to release a public beta of the CS3 Suite later this month to licensed users of CS2.

We’ll see if that’s true. If so, 2007 will be a very good year!
