    Hi folks,

    a strange effect has been reported by a customer. He wants to play an 8 min. QT-Movie on his new iMAC G5 (Quicktime 7.3.1 installed)
    I edited this movie in Premiere Pro 1.5 and exported it in prempro

    It is not the player that wont play Microsoft DV, it is the Operating System. Export as Apple DV/DVCPRO NTSC (or PAL) as the QT codec.

    You can export from Premiere back to DV tape and then recapture on the Mac, but you will loose the original timecode. If the timecode issue is just for client colaboration use the Clip Notes feature or drop the Timecode effect onto the footage before exporting.
