Pro Tools Won’t Record Instrument
I’ve researched this through other searches, but none of the solutions proffered therein are solving my issue. Namely, I can’t get PT to record any ‘instrument’ plug-ins. I’ve tried seemingly every track configuration (stereo/mono/instrument/audio track/etc.), and while the instrument’s audio is audible/visible in preview, when I go to record it disappears and records silence.
The odd thing is, I can record real audio from the mic or line input, so I’m wondering if it’s a bus issue or routing problem – ?
I’m using PT LE 7 with M Box.

Hello Eric and welcome to the Cow Audio Forum.
Best thing you can do is head on over to the DUC. Digidesign Users Conference. I believe I use an instrument track and an MIDI track to record the synth instruments with my PTLE/Digi 003.
