  Pro Tools compatibility

  Hello guys!

  This is my first post here but I’ve read you a lot, and I have no words to thank you all so much for all these years of support and smart advice 🙂

  I’ve read a lot about OMF and AAF support in FCPX during these 2 years but now, information is so dispersed that is really difficult to find the right answers to given problems.

  An audio guy I work a lot with told me the other day that FCPX is finally supporting some kind of file interchange format between FCP and Pro Tools. I read that there is an application called X2Pro that can do this, but it’s a bit expensive and I would’n like to spend that money if you guys know a free alternative or workaround.
