Pro-tools and AVID
Hello all,
This post is also listed in the Avid editing forum, (where i normally reside!).
I have an Adrenaline DNA system with which i use the Digidesign Command 8 control surface for automation recordings.
The system shipped with a free version of Pro Tools LE + TDM, but that was it. I have tired to install it and only get a message When i try and load it saying that the Digidesign Hardware cannot be found!?!? I know it will no doubt be something stupid like it needs an Mbox or Digi001 or something however the Command 8 is Digidesign Hardware and if not classed as such then why would they ship the Pro Tools software if you can’t then use it?
Has anyway had experience of this before or do they know a solution etc etc
Any help will be greatly appreciated.

HI Sorry I dont know for sure the answer to your post, although as i understand it the mixer is only a surface controller. I think you may well need an mbox, but id have thought youd have go the neccesary hardware to run PT LE.
I think if you go to https://duc.digidesign.com/ and post on the relevant forum, you will have the answer almost immediately.
