  • Pro res 422 render problem!

Posted by Michael Unger on February 21, 2012 at 2:01 am

    My issue is the following:

My footage is in Pro Res 422 (1920×1080). My sequence is Pro Res 422 (1920×1080) with Unlimited RT. Every time i make a cut i have the render out the orange or else i get a slow playback. What am I doing wrong?
    Thanks

Multicam? Have a filter on the footage? resized? Somethings not right. Not matching up exactly

Also check that if the media is interlaced or progressive and make the same change to the timeline. If the ProRes-files originate from an odd source – double check their frame rate as well. I’ve seen 24.xx FPS when dealing with 25 fps footage for example. This is something FCP won’t like.
