Just finished a clean install of Final Cut Studio 3. Software update failed half way through so I went to Apple’s Support Downloads site to manually get Pro Applications Update 2010-02.
Clicking the download button takes you to https://www.apple.com/finalcutpro/ – the splash page for Final Cut Pro X.
Fortunately my second go at Software update worked.
Needed Final Cut Pro 7.0.3 so that EOS MOVIE Plugin-E1 for Final Cut Pro Ver1.2 would work.

    Good show 😀

Since all this started this has been my only real concern. Thanks for sharing.

If anyone happens to have that updater tucked away, I’d love to get my hands on it! I’m sure there’re others who would as well. I’ve got dropbox and iDisk that you could upload to so lemme know!
