pro 2.0 on AMD dual Core
Hi Bovines.
I have yet to upgrade to 2.0.
I’m looking at building a couple of machines, one of which will host a blackmagic decklink HD Extreme.
My question to u is, Any experience good or bad, running PRO 2.0 on AMD? And the same for decklink?
I’ve been in the Intel camp for over 10 years.

I have a AMD Athlon 64 dual core 4200, 1.5 ram, 250g OS, nvidia 7300gs pci express and 2 extra HD 250g for capturing/rendering and assets. Working like a charm!
Then have and older Amd Athlon 64 3400; similar specs… same working horse! never had any problem with PP 1.5 or PP2.
I couldn’t see any difference in rendering, but in other tasks the dual core is faster.
