Quick question- could the installation of 17 turn off Quik time on 12 also?
I ask because in later testing I noticed the issue was happening with 12 also now.
A BH Photo computer tech and I deduced it to the new GPU I just installed and last night I requested an RMA and put the old card back in so I’ll need to put the new card back in to test Bill’s suggestion. As I mentioned earlier my grandkids are flying in today so it might be a day or 2 before I can try it but I sure hope he’s right…it would make things much easier!
    Thanks again,
    Randy

No need for any confusion, when you are done with everything, simply reinstall the last
version of Quicktime and follow the instruction to activate the quicktime plugin in Vegas
in the Deprecated tab of Preferences. You should be ok.
