Pro 1.5.1 lost its QT export settings
Hello All,
Just recently Premiere Pro 1.5 lost its ability to export in any QT format. The option is just not there. I tried uninstalling QT7 and then reinstalling, but it was a no go. Went back to QT 6.5 still a no go.
If I reinstall Premiere do you think it will find the preferences it needs? I’m in the middle of a project and I’m kinda weary of doing that but I need the .mov options.

AMD Athalon XP 2600+

When you reinstalled QT, did you make sure to enable the authoring options?
If Premiere 6.5 is also failing, it’s probably a QT issue, and not directly on Premiere’s end. You might be able to use the Adobe Media Exporter from Premiere Pro, though, as it also does QT and I think Adobe wrote a plug-in for that, rather than talking directly to QT.

When I installed QT it did not give me an option to enable the Authoring options. Is it buried somewhen in the QT menu? I noticed the installer did not give me a custom installation feature likeit usually does.

Went a head and uninstalled QT 7, then installed 6.5.2. Clicked on all the options avaiable to install. Launched Premiere but the QT export setting is still not there under the “General” tab.
I did see that you can load settings. Would it be possible for someone to save their working export settings and email them to me?
