Pro 1.5 crash and can’t open project.
I am working with feature length video on a 2GB RAM, Dual Core, XP Pro system. Have 100 GB of free space left.
Last night I was editing. Went to export the project to AVI. I am 45 minutes into the timeline.
I got an error from Pro saying it could not compile the movie. I restarted Pro and got the “Premiere has experienced a serious error” message. However when I try to open the feature project it won’t open and just gives me this message. I made multiple copies of this project and none will open. My other projects will open. The auto save project will also open.
I have tried opening a new project and importing from there. I deleted all rendered preview files and CFA files. I increased my page file size as well to 1.5 times the ram in my system. Do I have to re-install Premiere?
Can anyone please help me?

Sounds like you have tried what I would have. The auto save project file may be your last hope..just choose the newest one, not the highest numbered version and that should have been created less than 20 minutes before all went pear shaped.
