Pro 10 Won’t Open with Waves 9
Howdy. Recently upgraded my old Waves 5 plugs to Waves 9 Platinum. Pro 10e now consistently hangs during startup when the .dll scan hits Waves Tune Lite. I’ve completely deleted that plugin but Pro 10e still looks for it and freezes. Is there some way to get to the plugin preferences outside the program to force it to ignore the Waves plugs? Or is there some way to start Vegas that will skip the loading of plugins?

Manually look in the programs directory and your VST plugins folder
and delete every single folder or file associated with it.Steve Rhoden

Thanks, Steve. I had done that, but as it turns out it was the Waveshell.dll file that was causing the hangup. I’ve got queries in to both Sony and Waves to see if we can figure out why that would happen.
