October 11, 2010 at 5:37 pmLog into your Sony account, click on “My Software”, scroll down to “Upgrades”, click on “Upgrade to Vegas Pro 10 from Vegas”, click “Buy Now” (ignore the $239.95 price) and you’ll see the $139.95 price.

Am I the only one not seeing it?
Or was it perhaps a temporary typo on their site, and they have fixed it?

October 11, 2010 at 9:14 pmOr check your mail: I received already two e-mails from Sony with the offer…(would that mean two times 100$ reduction???)

October 12, 2010 at 1:08 amYeah, I just purchased it today and it crashes whenever I try to open my projects. I went back to 9c (9e crashed with my projects as well).
I contacted Sony with all the specs, but doubt I’ll ever hear back from them.
I’d suggest people wait until there’s more feedback about 10. I’m definitely not a happy camper… -

I am downloading it now. I am sure they will eventually straighten the bugs out (whether sooner or later)…and a $139.00 introductory price is hard to beat.

October 12, 2010 at 1:29 amMike, I’ve been on several Vegas forums almost all day long and yours is the first post I’ve seen about crashing on Pro 10.

October 13, 2010 at 3:12 amI have yet to get the email from Sony, but following the link from Mike appears to be sufficient once I login as myself and enter a qualifying serial number…

October 27, 2010 at 2:15 pmLooking to upgrade to 10, but had a question on installation. I run Vegas 8 on both a laptop and a desktop (never simultaneously. In the past I used a hard copy CD for installing on both machines. How would I do that if I chose to “download” the product instead of taking the “reduced packaging” option?
Thanks in advance.
Marlen
