  Private BMDV file in MPEG streamclip

  I shot my footage on a digital sony handheld but used my sd card from a Nikon DSLR and the files came up under private file folder and then in a BMDV QuickTime file that I can somehow access clips, but when I try to have MPEG streamclip keep in highest quality. It won’t queue the BMDV file. If I save the clips in preview, and try to put them through MPEG it causes the program freeze and ‘not respond’ help!
