I have some 300 items and descriptions in my browser anticipating being used in a brilliant piece. Can I print a paper copy of this list with description, timecode, etc. so the Director can do his homework expeditiously.

THe way to do it is to use a screenshot.

Apple Key, shift 4 will bring up the target and you can cutout the part of the screen you want to print. This places a PDF on your desktop.

no print bin feature in FCP.

You may export a batch list, open in Excel and print from there as well.

Yes you can. Export the bin as a shot batch list with the columns you want, then import into excel or similar and print.
