    I’m trying to connect the computer to the the camera Sony FX1 to make a tape but I’m not luky.All is ok when I capture from the camera but from computer to camera I can’t. I tryed to do the follow Audio/Video setting, > A/V Device>Playback Output but there is only 2 option Higlight one is None(this mean no playback) and the other is Digital Video Destop Preview-Main(full screem with no possibility to controll.If you have some idea…

    Carlos- First verify that FCP is communicating with your camra/deck via Log and Capture. Quit out of Log and Capture. Go to A/V Settings and check ‘Different Output for Edit to Tape/Print to Video and choose HDV for both video and audio. Go to Print to Tape. You’ll have a conforming process which is part of the HDV codec.
