Hello all
I’m having a problem with print to tape on Final Cut HD. When I print to tape the footage skips, at one point the tape was loosing timecode.
I can’t figure it out I’ve changed settings I’ve tried a bunch of different things nothing seems to work. The footage plays fine on the time line its after I put the sequences on the final time line hit print to tape and it conforms the footage first then records to tape.
It seems that everything goes to s!@#$ after it conforms my footage. When ever I play the footage on the timeline after I comform it it has the same Glitches. Please help!
I’m using HDV format 1080i using a Sony HDV Firewire Deck.

Might try exporting the sequence as a self contained QuickTime movie and printing that to tape…
