  Print to Tape in Capture Panel

  Trying to capture a rendered file to tape via the Capture Window Panel in Vegas 6.0. Using Canon HV20 connected to Firewire in PC. I’m able to capture from camcorder…but can’t print to tape/device. I’ve loaded the file I wish to print to tape and it shows up in the control panel and I can play it fine.

  It appears however, that I can’t get a signal acknowledged in the camcorder, despite my going through the settings as per the manual. Another thing is that I can “Cue” the camera but there is no “Print to Camcorder” Icon as per the Vegas Help Menu suggests.

  Kinda stumped once again, ya’ll. I keep thinking I’ve bumped something or accidentally messed up a setting…but so far, everything is correct…just not working. (and yes I did check the tape to make sure the rec tab was set correctly too!)

  One strange thing is that when I do a “pull down menu” and select “Print to Device”…another window opens explaining that the mouse will be deactivated but that I can stop recording with the ESC key or SPACE BAR. Funny because I haven’t assigned this to preview anywhere….hhhuh?
