    Hello,
I am trying to do something for time lapses: extract the capture date (exif or file creation date could do) of each image of a sequence and put that in a text field on top of the video, to have kind of a real time clock.
I am using Adobe tools (CC full).
Maybe some plugin, simple and effective, maybe I have first to create a table or text file containing all dates, one per line per frame? What direction should I take?
    Thank you all!
    Greg

You definitely need a script but you’re description is vague to me. I suggest that you re-post and/or post a mockup JPG so that it’s clearer. You will also want to post in the COW’s AE Expressions Forum.

Looking for the exact same thing ! (Your description was not vague at all, not sure why the response was indicated as such). The suggestion for re-posting seems to be a good one – I will look there, but did you have any luck getting this question answered ?

    Thanks – Mike O
