Hey chaps, this has been giving me a headache for weeks.
I’ve asked around but no one seems to get the problem.
Basically, i want to print from C4D in A3 size 300dpi. I have chosen the default setting and the printer gives me a perfect A3 print back. But the viewer gives me a squarer shape and also in the render window.
I would like to be able to compose an image that looks the same on screen as the print aspect ratio.
I have tried manipulating the pixel numbers but they are all linked and i cant get it to look right.

    Any thoughts out there?

    Cheers
    Trev

Have you set the pixel aspect to 1 (square)?

Yes its set to 1. The A3 default sets the Film aspect to 1.414.

Huh. Add me to the list of those who don’t get the problem. When I select print presets the height/width ratio is correct on screen and in print. I can hold a piece of paper to the screen and it fits exactly.

    Thanks for taking a look.
