    hello everyone
    this might sound silly but, any idea where i can find articles or tips on “principles of working with text” such as : “centered text is boring”… ideas on how to be creative with text

    I find the best place to look is in the adds you see everyday. Such as on TV, Print, ect. The ads with text that pop out at you are popping out for a reason. Study the best. Here is an article that may be of help on Seeking Great Ideas.

    Also, there are a ton of books on Typography. I would just google the word Typography and see what you find. Hope this helps.

    I think it’s instructive to remember that humans have been on a quest to make type beautiful since before Guttenberg impressed that pesky bible.

    By all means study and learn. Just realize that nine tenths of a lifetime from now you’ll still be at it.

    for film/video visual dynamics: The Visual Image – Bruce Block

    If you are looking for “10 tips for more exciting type” – Google will deliver. There are dozens of great blogs devoted to typography and design
