I am using FCP 7.0.3 and OS 10.6.5. I have Primatte Keyer Pro version 4.0 and have used it numerous times before and had no problems. But recently if I use the ‘Matte Controls’ and select the ‘enable Matte’ box my video disappears when I render. If I deselect the Enable Matte button my video is back. I have some green screen shots that I need to use the Matte Controls on.
Has anyone run into this problem or do you have any suggestions that might help?

    Thanks!

    It’s 1920 x 1080, 23.98, AVC Intra 100M

I’m not sure if it’s long-gop, but I don’t think that is the issue because I have many other shots that keyed just fine. It’s only when I enable the Matte Controls and render that the problem arises.

[Dave LaRonde] ” I’m not so sure AVC Intra is a good choice for keying: isn’t it a long-gop codec?”

It’s all I-frames. I think of it as Panasonic’s ProRes.
