Pricing extra order of DVD for recital
I just got a call from a big customer of mine that they needs 50 extra 2-DVD in case.
It is a slow season for me so I don’t want to charge the the same as the originals but I don’t want to give them away either.
What do you guys do in the same situation?Douglas Villalba

if your client is a government agency then the luxury of cost plus pricing might be viable. In a competitive market I would advise checking out prices offered by (professional) short-run duplicators and price accordingly.
Think about it – if you have a single DVD burner it will take you 8 hours, if you have a 4 burner it will take you 2 hours, if you have an automated unit it will take you 20 minutes.
