price drops on XH-A1?

Last November Canon announced the XH-A1S, an upgraded replacement for the XH-A1. A sales rep at Calumet told me Canon dropped the price of the XH-A1 in order to clear their exiting inventory. Thanks for the info. Does anyone have a list of differences between these two cameras? I’ve had my eye on the XH-A1 and am wondering if it’d be worth it to get the A1S with the price difference.

In my eyes, the A1s at the very least is what the original A1 should have been in the first place.
