  Previous Playhead/Edit Point location

  When I am rearranging clips on my timeline, usually moving them to the end or beginning, is there a way to go back to the previous edit point?
  Right now, I have to zoom in to find a clip, zoom out to put that clip where I want, and have to zoom in and figure out where the other clips I want to go through are. Is there a shortcut to go to the end or beginning of the clip then back to where I left off?
