I am coming down to the final tweak edits of my feature length film and I have come to the frustrating realisation that some of my previews are not rendering properly. I am on software mode of mercury playback and some scenes are showing pitch black and others are not complying to the blending modes we set for them.

Only when I delete the work area previews does it work properly as it is supposed to, what could be the issue here?

I think i said this before, set it to max render quality and dont use preview files.

I know, but I was talking about the rendered files IN premiere pro on the timeline showing inaccurately. I seem to have fixed it by deleting the affected preview files and re-rendering them.

    Sorry, misread.
Deleting rendered files is a good thing.
Its but a preview. The important thing is the endproduct.
