previewing the join between avi and menu
I have created an animatiion of a menu in AE and exported as uncompressed AVI.
I have linked the AVI’s end action to go to the menu… all is well if I burn to disk and look at it to check the join but I would really like to save on disks and preview the join in Encore. When I try to preview I get a jump and a frame of black. Am I doing anything wrong or am I asking too much?

the jump in the Encore Preview is normal, to save on discs i would suggest that you use DVD RW, as this is the cheaper option as they can be used over and over again, once you are satisfied with the project then you can commit to DVD R
