Previewing Clips Off SHDC Card
Does anyone know if you can put the SHDC card from an HMC150 (AVCHD) in a computer’s card reader and preview the clips in the Sony Vegas project media bin before you decide which clips to transfer to the hard drive? Vegas supports AVCHD but I’d like to know if it can preview the clips off an SHDC card.

I do it all of the time. You just need to find the actual clip folder (it seems the cameras generate 3 or 4 folders for each clip) you can tell the actual clip by the size and extension

Thanks for the info. That’s what I want to do… preview the clips without using the camera, decide which clips I want to use and then transfer only those clips to a hard drive.
Just curious… when you transfer the clips to your computer, how many folders and/or files are there for each individual clip?
