  • Previewing clips in Log and Transfer window in FCP 6

Posted by Pdxnative on June 11, 2007 at 2:44 am

    Greetings,

I have been successfully “ingesting” footage from a P2 card via FCP 6’s log and transfer window. However, somehow I clicked on the preview window and made in disappear. I can’t find any info in the manual about how to make it reappear. Can’t do my transfers without previewing the footage first. Anyone know how to do this? A simple keystroke perhaps?

Also, a second question. Out of 96 clips, only one gets an unspecified error when I try to add it to the queue. The clips just before and after (all shot the same day) are fine. Mystery.

    Thanks.

I think the way to do this is to open the P2 import window in the File menu.
