  • Previewing clips in Log and Transfer window in FCP 6

    Greetings,

I have been successfully “ingesting” footage from a P2 card via FCP 6’s log and transfer window. However, somehow I clicked on the preview window and made in disappear. I can’t find any info in the manual about how to make it reappear. Can’t do my transfers without previewing the footage first. Anyone know how to do this? A simple keystroke perhaps?

Also, a second question. Out of 96 clips, only one gets an unspecified error when I try to add it to the queue. The clips just before and after (all shot the same day) are fine. Mystery.

    Thanks.

On the middle right side of the Log and Transfer window, there is a bar with two lines in it. Click and drag that bar to the middle of the window to make the preview window show again.

As far as the clip that didn’t show up, you should do some research in the Panasonic P2 forum. Several people have posted similar problems.
