I’m pretty sure I had this working at one point but can’t seem to get it working again. I’ve loaded a .tiff sequence onto a “screen”. I need to see the sequence play back within the scene when I scrub the timeline. I’ve checked the posts here dating back 6 months and I keep searching through the help files within the program with no luck. This should be a very simple thing to do, a checkbox somewhere or a btn I haven’t pressed. Does this feature exist in 9.6?

Should be no problem since 9.6. Before 9.6 only the background object was capable of showing image sequences in the editor.
Does it work for you when rendering? If not maybe something went wrong when creating the material.

So is it automatic or do I need to enable something?

In the illumination part of the material enable “Animate Preview”

Dammit that’s what it was. I didn’t upgrade to 9.6

    Thanks
