Preview window on separate monitor
I’m using Vegas Pro-9b. I have one monitor hooked up to my vga output and another monitor connected to my hdmi output. I’d like to work across two screens but I can’t seem to find any reference in Vegas instructions or help menus to putting my workspace on one monitor and my preview screen on the other. Any suggestions?

You need to set up your other monitor as a “Secondary Monitor” in windows first. Make sure in Windows in the Display Properties | Settings tab you select “Extend my Windows desktop onto this monitor” for the second monitor. Then Vegas can use it for preview using Options | Preferences | Preview Device and choosing Windows Secondary Display.
