Preview settings
I was working some clips in Pro 10 and saw that my preview window settings would fluctuate from Preview.. half to full and back. When setting it to best settings is found its way back to the stutter step…What is up with that. Never saw that in 9

Believe it or not, this is a “feature” that was introduced in Pro 9.
From the readme notes:
Right-click the Video Preview window and select Adjust Size and Quality for Optimal Playback if you want to emphasize frame rate during preview.
When the command is not selected, video quality is emphasized, and the frame rate will be reduced if necessary. -
Thanks Mike, I’ll have to learn to look at those read me notes a little more often. Once I get past the confusion of everything else, lol. I find myself running and gunning and missing a lot of targets I should take better aim on.

I’m just as bad as you are at not reading the Release notes each and every time and it has come back to bite me more than once 🙂
