Preview not working?
Only about half of the emitters will play in my preview window. Is this normal or am I missing a setting somewhere?

Open the Project Settings dialog and look at the framerate. If it’s not 30.00, some emitters may not show and you’ll need to tweak the “number” property for these. There are typically just a few emitters in any one library (at most) that do this though — most are not very sensitive to different framerates.
1/2 not working? Very unusual.

It is set at 30.00. In the June emitters, only 1 of the six “regular” emitters plays in my preview window. Maybe I need to load the software?

Make sure you’re using the latest version (3.0.3 on Windows), 3.0.6 on Mac.

I am running 3.0.5.
Today I went to open the software and I get nothing. Just a blank screen. As soon as I try to start something it crashes. I tried to load the software but with the same result.

Not sure what you mean by “blank screen”, but try deleting your preferences file. It’s:
/ Library / Prefrences / pIllusion3.prefs After you delete that file pI3 should work fine.
