  Preview lag with 144fps Video

  So im recording gameplay in 144fps but when i open it in sony vegas and play it, the video freezes and isnt matched up with the audio. Ive tried changing the preview quality and allocated ram and it doesnt do anything. It doesnt work in 120fps, 60 etc.
  If i leave it for 5 seconds or so and play it, the video wont freeze and will run smoothly for about 10 seconds or so and it will go back to being choppy.

  – How can i fix this?
  – what other video editors can work with 144fps
