  Preview lag for just some text (Sony Vegas Pro 10 & 12)

  My preview window has huge lag when previewing just a scrolling block of text (credits):

  Text Properties

  #lines: ~280
  Font: Arial, fontsize 24, parts in bold/italic

  Computer Properties

  Memory: 16 GB RAM
  Processor: Intel Core i7-2600k (3.4 GHz)
  OS: Windows 7 (64bit)

  Sony Vegas Properties

  Version: Sony Vegas Pro 10 and 12
  Preview screen setting: “Preview Auto”
  Dynamic RAM Preview max: 5000 MB

  Strangely enough, I have no problem whatsoever previewing full HD content, but just a piece of moving text gives me problems. Does anybody know how this is possible and (even better) have a solution?
