preview 24fps IOHD
Hi,
I’ll be editing a short film shot with the Arri Alexa. I’ll be editing with FCP7 and monitor with my IOHD on a HD screen. To preview the timeline on a external monitor, do we need to shoot 23.98 or can we go 24fps?
If we can’t but want to stay 24fps, are there alternatives I can consider?

The AJA Io HD supports 1080PsF 23.98, 1080PsF 24, 1080p 23.98 and 1080p 24. Since the type of video monitor being used isn’t mentioned, please be aware that PsF will not be compatible with HDMI connected monitors and some consumer/prosumer monitors do not support 23.98 or 24 fps material.
