Activity Forums VEGAS Pro prevent relocation of current time indicator

I’m using dual screens to edit some footage, spreading the timeline across the screens.

The issue I’m having is that as soon as I use the scroll wheel on my mouse to zoom in/out, the current time indicator (“cursor”) gets repositioned to the center of the timeline, in my case, very close to where my screens touch.

How can I tell Vegas to maintain the current position of the CTI when I zoom in/out?

    Cheers,

I’m not sure you’re describing what you’re seeing. When you move the mouse wheel to zoom the timeline, the cursor does not move – the timeline moves so that the cursor is in the center of the screen.

    Hi Stephen,

Weird. I just re-opened my project to describe the problem with more clarity and I can’t replicate the behaviour.

Cursor now behaves is expected. It must have been was either something I was doing wrong or there was something funky with Vegas/project at the time.
