    Hello, 🙂

Is there any way to disable overlapping for specific layers? I have two 3D layers which have same Z axis and one half of first comp overlaps second comp. I want to make like that, as the attached picture shows:

    Thanks!

    Best regards,
    DADA

You can force one layer to be in front of the other, but it won’t be exactly in the middle like that.

The solution is to duplicate your comp so that you have two identical comps. Hide the red layer in one comp and hide the green layer in the other comp. Then pop them both into a main comp and use the Linear Wipe effect to reveal the lower one.

I guess you could cheat it by rotating the layers ever so slightly around the y-axis in opposite directions so that there is a (undetectable) fold between the layers.
