  • Prevent Outline When Using Iris Wipe Preset

Hi Everyone, although this is my first post, I’ve basically been living in this forum over the past few months. It’s provided me with a very helpful kickstart for an AE project I’m working on (my first AE project). Apologies if this question has been asked before, I did search for a solution, but was unable to find anything that seems to fit my situation…

I have applied an animation preset from my main composition on 2 separate pre-comps. I’m using the Iris Square Wipe one (Presets>Transitions-Wipes>Iris-Square). The first pre-comp on my timeline transitions with the square collapsing, and the second one transitions with the square expanding. My issue is that I am getting outline artifacts around the object within the second pre-comp. So even though there is a box expanding from center out, you can see the outline of the entire object. Any advice on how to get rid of the outline is appreciated.

    Thanks!

    -Kevin
