    Folks,

Is there a way/modifier key to go ahead 10 frames, instead of just one frame when viewing a clip? I know you can in ther trim window, but I was wondering if you could map to the keyboard, or use a modifier key to just jump ahead 10 frames instead of single frames.

shift arrow moves you 30 frames (1 second). that’s as close as you can get.

There is actually a way to set the modifier amount in one of the preference setups. I’m not there right now, but if you hunt around you might be able to find it.

This way you can change Shift-Arrow from default 30 to 10.

    Good luck,

Sorry Captain. I think that only controls the edit trim function for the trim edit window and the [ ] keys. The cursor movement I don’t believe is definable.

    All the best,

    Tom

    Aargh.

I do believe you are correct. I got thinking after I posted it and didn’t have a chance to check it out…

Wait… I remember typing in 10 frames… so if it was frame specific, why was I still getting one second jumps when I was editing in 24fsp AND 30fps.

Well… I’ll admit jumping the gun on this answer.
