pressure sensitive brush

i have a wacom tablet. i cant figure out how to activate pressure sensitivity with my brushes. do i need a specific .abr? i basically want to be able to do lines with variation of width like this guy.

Is “Shape Dynamics” ticked in your brushes pallete?
