  presets not loading error bridge>after effects, read another topic but solution doesn’t elp

  Hey, I am behind one of the computers at my school but it seems that the presets in bridge do not load to after effects. It gives an error message:

  After Effects error: Can’t import file “name of the effect”: unsupported filetype or extension.

  I googled and found this topic

  in which they say to right click the preset and select place in after effects. But I do this and nothing happens. I have my text layer selected and do this, I don’t see the effect nor if I highlight the text.
  What am I doing wrong here? (using cs5)
