i have a canon xha1 and not sure what to set my sequence/capture/device control presets to when logging/capturing.

then there is the problem of exporting to quicktime and what settings to use here??

what is the difference between the 50 and the 60 (1080i).

also how do i know if it is recording at 24/25 fps and does this affect my presets??

ive burnt to a dvd but the HD quality on dvd just isnt the same quality definition as the original tapes (rushes). In fact -it looks HORRIBLE!!

    what am i doing wrong??!!

I forgot to add in my last post this is what my xha1 is set to:

    comp. output: 1080i/576i
    frame rate: 50i
    signal: HD
    image size: LW1920x1080

    Hi Brydie,
With all my respect, what you need is to learn some basic video theory.
The FC manual should become your favorite reading for the next few months.
