March 14, 2012 at 12:01 amWhen you download Neoscene it comes with a little app that will let you convert your footage to Cineform.avi’s
Cineform has it own presets with Premiere, I think that will be the same for CS4.
If it does not just make a custom preset with i-frame only mpeg in the Custom tab of the New Sequence.
Neoscene has a trial for 15 days. Just try it.
I use to use it a lot when i was on CS4.———————————————–

March 15, 2012 at 2:02 pmCS5 is worth the upgrade. I don’t have any issues just importing the footage of different codec’s into the project and dropping it onto the timeline. The time you save converting is worth the upgrade of less that $500.
