Presets bug?
Anyone seen the capture presets change on their own? We’ll try to grab something in DV50, the preset says DV50 but the footage is coming in 8bit?
We tried to grab some ProRes and it came in 10bit?
We were able to go into the presets and edit them… but on the DV50 it would switch back to 8bit… but when we changed the ProRes is would stay fixed. Wed made a duplicate of the DV50, fixed that and this time it stuck!
We are still poking around as I type, but just wondering if anyone has seen this.
I do not remember all the OS version numbers – I’m not at edit bay – but basically its Final Cut 6.0.?
and OSX 10.5.? Newest Kona drivers, on a Dual 2.0 G5 with a Kona 2.Thanks,

YOu’d try to capture DV50 and it would capture 8-bit UNCOMPRESSED? ProRes and it’d capture 10-bit Uncompressed?
You are on a G5, can that thing even capture ProRes? I thought that was Intel Mac only? I tried with my Dual 2.0 G5 and Kona LH and couldn’t.
