preset effect for having an image slide on screen in multiple panels

Not sure what you mean by “an image slides onscreen in 2 or 3 panels.”

Not scripts/preset per-se. But perhaps a workflow like this ?

ok, I’ll try to be more clear

I have a photoshop image
I want to find an effects that slices it into 3 panels and then each of the 3 slices move onto the screen one at a time.

it would be great to have controls that I can choose how many slices and the directions of the positioning movement

any help would be great

I’m still not sure what you mean by “panel” because any windows in AE is called panel.
Timeline panel, render queue panel, effects panel, etc

But in case you mean Split into different layout in the same comp, maybe you can use this :

right panel wouldn’t be the exact word.

plane or rectangle would be the right word.

maybe I can be a bit more clear.

I am working on a series of 3 minute videos that use a similar effect throughout them.

Like I mentioned the image moves on screen in multiple parts.

Sometimes the footage is a still jpeg, sometimes it is video footage and sometimes it is animated graphics.

I was hoping to find a preset that slices the video up (which I found in ae scripts) and also has the preset positioning control, (which I saved in my presets)

kind of looking to have it all in one click if possible.
especially if I hand the job off.
