preset effect for having an image slide on screen in multiple panels
I know this sounds like a simple effect.
an image slides onscreen in 2 or 3 panels.
the way I have been doing it is manually by copying my image layer making a masking and adding the positioning key frames to have each half of the image come on screen at different times,
the question I have is if there is a script, expression or preset for this because I have several long videos where I need to create this effect.

You could do this with Card Dance or Card Wipe using a precomp with a gradient to drive the position of your cards.
