I’d like to keep transparent portions of a clip clear when exported. I have a PS graphic with the a card wipe on effect, so between the chuncks of graphic is clear. I want that clip to show through to footage underneath in Premiere. I’ve tried it as a Dynamic Link import but that tends to bog down my computer and it’s much quicker for me to export a .avi and import it into my project. Do you have any ideas how best to get this result.
    Thanks

Make sure you’re exporting the AVI with Alpha. There’s a preset Output Module for just this purpose “Lossless with Alpha.” You can also modify your standard Output Module, make sure that the ‘Channels’ in the Output Module are set to RGB + Alpha (Default for Lossless is RGB, Lossless with Alpha is RGB + Alpha).
