Preserve Metadata from PremierePro Capture to CatDV
Hi,
I am in the process of digitizing and cataloging a large library of video on tape. Metadata entered into the “log note” field in the Project panel of Premiere Pro CC 2014 is saved and imported with a clip ingested into CatDV. However, the “log note” field in the Capture panel of Premiere Pro does not translate, or import, with the clip into CatDV. In fact of the 6 user-editable metadata fields in the Capture panel, only the “tape name” field carries over upon ingest into CatDV.
I would like to be able to include a clip description as part of this capture process to maximize efficiency. Is there any means to do this using Premiere Pro to capture?
Alternate suggestions to achieve the same end?
